Mamali Shafahi (b. 1982, Iran) holds degrees from the École Nationale Supérieure d’Arts Paris-Cergy and the University of Art in Tehran. He lives and works between Marseille and Paris, France. His work has been exhibited at venues including Palais de Tokyo (Paris), Dastan’s Basement (Tehran) and Shulamit Gallery (Los Angeles). His VR collaboration with Ali Eslami, nerd_funk, was presented at Het Nieuwe Institut (Rotterdam) and the Vancouver Biennale, and received the Golden Calf for Best Interactive Film at the Netherlands Film Festival.
Domenico Gutknecht (b. 1987, Germany) studied media and journalism in Berlin. He lives and works between Marseille and Paris, France. Before pursuing art, he was the proprietor of Rosa Wolf, a magazine shop in Berlin specializing in independent publications. His work has been exhibited at ARCO (Madrid), Frieze (London & Los Angeles), Club Rhubarb (New York City), and Guesthouse (Los Angeles).
